Gold Glove Gamer 12.75 inch Outfield Baseball Glove (GG601G)
------------------------------------------------------------
This Gold Glove Gamer 12.75 inch glove is Rawlings' most popular
glove among outfielders. This model features a deep pocket and
the Trap-Eze Web pattern, allowing for maximum strength. This
glove is referred to as the "six finger" glove due to how the
webbing acts to shift the pocket to the center. The Gold Glove
Gamer Series utilize pro quality materials and designs including
authentic Rawlings Pro Patterns and high-quality US made Pro
Grade Laces. These gloves maximize comfort and durability with
pro soft leather that allows for a quicker, easier break-in, and
full grain finger linings. This glove is game ready with 90%
factory break-in.
Trap-Eze Web
------------
The Trap-Eze web, patented by Rawlings in 1959, is the only web
which is actually an extension of the glove. Lacing on two sides
of the web creates a center that naturally closes around the
ball. The Trap-Eze Web is the most popular web among outfielders.
Gold Glove Leather
------------------
Rawlings’ famous Gold Glove leather is cut from a soft cowhide
that enables the glove to break in quickly and easily while still
maintaining necessary durability to hold its shape. Tanned at the
perfect temperature for just the right a of time, Gold Glove
series ball gloves instantly have a softer, game-ready feel,
allowing players to take a Gold Glove Series model straight from
the shelf to the field.

Choosing a Glove
----------------
Position
Glove Characteristics
Catcher These gloves have no finger channels, with heavy palm
padding and overall reinforcements to reduce the sting of
repeatedly catching pitchers' throws.
Pitcher (Infield) Choose a mid-size glove that's easy to
control. Closed and Modified Trap webs work best at this
position, letting you disguise your pitches by hiding the ball.
First Base (Infield) These gloves also lacks finger channels, but
with less padding that a catcher's mitt, with added length to
help catch infield throws and a shallow pocket, enabling quick
ball retrieval.
Second Base (Infield) Choose a smaller glove with a shallow
pocket, balancing control with the need to make quick throws.
Short Stop (Infield) Go to a smaller/mid size glove with a
shallow pocket for ground balls and quick throws. Third Base
(Infield) Choose a medium to large glove with a shallow to
mid-size pocket for maximum catching power.
Outfield Choose a longer glove to provide extended reach, with a
deep pocket to handle high-lofting balls.
