Roadster. First presented to the public in 1935, the car proved
to be a real sensation for its time. Sporty and graceful, its
body was a feast for the eyes. The aerodynamic line management
enhanced the charming sporty look of its overall configuration in
particular, which truly set the Audi 225 Roadster apart. CMC
offers this ravishingly beautiful hand-assembled miniature of
more than 1,600 single parts in three different two-tone color
versions limited to 4000 pieces. Each color combination brings

CMC’s Audi 225 Front Roadster is a precision metal model hand
assembled from more than 1,600 individual parts. Authentically
crafted with a true-to-scale body, attention to detail is
exemplified by meticulous replication of the double winged bonnet
with louvered vents, the six cylinder in-line engine with all
aggregates, cabling, and pipes, and the wheels with an aluminum
rim, stainless steel spokes on nipples, and rubber tire, to
mention just a few. The fully-replicated engine compartment, with
a reinforced metal wall and metal supporters that swing out to
hold an opened engine hood.
The interior features an accurately recreated cockpit with seats
covered with real leather, a fully instrumented dashboard,
windshield with high gloss chromed metal frame with installed
wiper motors and doors and trunk deck also lined with real
leather. Exterior features include true to the original grill set
in a masterfully crafted assemblage of metal work, double-winged
engine hood with louvered vents, a bar that swings out to support
the opened engine hood, six-cylinder in-line-engine with all
aggregates, cabling and pipes, box-type metal frame with a
perfect imitation of the wood sub frame, a highly detailed
undercarriage displaying the filigree brake leverage of the
mechanical brake system, complex designed front and rear bumpers
designed of stainless steel and aluminum rims accented with
stainless steel spokes and nipples.

Collaboration Between Audi and CMC

The rise of the company Audi is undoubtedly one of the most
fascinating stories in the 100 odd years of automobile history.
In June 1909, the top management of Horch Automobiles decided
that its founder had to leave the company. Undaunted by this
twist of e, August Horch sought to launch a new automobile
on his own. Only four weeks later, he opened his new
company, Audi. The rest, as they say, is history.
In collaboration with the Audi, CMC offers this ravishingly
beautiful model car in celebration of the car manufacturer’s
centennial anniversary in 2009. A diecast replica in scale 1.18,
this precision model is hand assembled from over 1,600 parts. It
features the extensive use of a sophisticated sheet metal
technology for the detailing of functional and body parts, which
is a trademark of CMC products as true collectibles.

The rise of the company "Audi" is undoubtedly one of the
most fascinating stories in the 100-odd years of automobile
history. It began with one special name: August Horch. In June
1909, the top management of Horch decided that its founder August
Horch had to leave the company. Undaunted by this twist of e,
August sought to launch a new automobile on his own. Only
four weeks later, his dream virtually came true: The "August
Horch Automobilwerke GmbH" was officially registered in Zwickau,
Saxony on July 16, 1909. But the Horch s took August to
court, cling exclusive use rights of the name "Horch" for
themselves. August Horch lost the trial and had to find a new
name. He wound up renaming his new “Audi”, the imperative
case of the Latin verb "audire" meaning "Horch." in German. 2009
marks the 100th anniversary of Audi. This is reason enough for
